Meet the inhabitants of Cozumel's reef

15 years guiding divers through the Mesoamerican Reef
Blue Horizon was born from a passion for Cozumel's extraordinary underwater world. Located at Caleta de Cozumel — the island's historic dive haven — we have been guiding divers from around the world through the coral architecture of the Mesoamerican Reef for over 15 years.
Our mission is to share the wonder of Cozumel's reef while protecting it for future generations.
42-foot custom dive boat with full safety equipment, fresh water rinse, oxygen kit, and shaded deck. Maximum 8 divers per trip for an intimate experience.
We use Scubapro and Mares gear, serviced after every trip. Dive computers included on every dive.

Everything you need to know before your dive
Caleta is a 10-minute taxi from downtown San Miguel, or 25 minutes from the cruise terminal. Free parking on site. We provide free hotel pickup within Cozumel town.
Swimsuit, towel, photo ID, biodegradable sunscreen (mandatory — marine park rule), and a sense of adventure. We provide everything else.
You must be in reasonable health. Able to swim 200m unaided and float for 10 minutes. A standard PADI medical questionnaire is completed before each dive.
Asthma, heart conditions, diabetes, ear/sinus issues, recent surgery, or pregnancy require written doctor clearance.
Tanks, weights, dive guide, marine park fees, water and fruit on board. Equipment rental and lunch are optional add-ons.
Minimum age 10 for Discover Scuba (Bubblemaker), 10 for Junior Open Water, 12 for full Open Water certification.
Tips are appreciated but not required. $10–20 USD per diver per day for the dive crew is customary.
Diving is excellent year-round. June–August has the warmest water (29°C). November–March has the best visibility (40m+). Eagle ray season: December–March.
